For the second consecutive night the home town Prince George Spruce Kings used a strong third period to defeat the Chiefs Saturday night.
Goals from Sam Kozlowski and Patrick Cozzi paced the Kings to a 2-1 win.
For the second straight game the Chiefs lone goal was scored by forward Kevin Wall.
Mathieu Caron made his second straight start, turning away 35 Kings shots in a strong performance that earned him the game’s third star.
The Chiefs are back in action Friday night when they travel to Langley to take on the Rivermen. The two teams will meet again Saturday night in the Chiefs home opener.
