The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce that 2004-born defenseman Lucas Sorace has secured his NCAA future with a commitment to Quinnipiac. Sorace, a former affiliate player with the Chiefs, is in his first full season in the BCHL after spending last season with the North East Chiefs U18 AAA program.
“We are really excited for Lucas and his family.” Said Chiefs Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney. “Lucas is on a great development path and we look forward to continuing to help him prepare his game for the NCAA.”
“I’m extremely honoured and excited to commit to Quinnipiac University. Thank you to all my coaches, family, friends, and teammates who have helped support me along the way.” Said the Port Moody born defensemen.
