Welcome to the home of the
2018 national champions
In Spring 2020 the Chiefs will have the following spring teams:
- U18 (2003/2004) coached by Brad Rihela – Chiefs Associate Head Coach/Assistant GM
- U16 (2005) coached by Chris Price – Chiefs Player Development Coach/Scout
- U15 (2006) coached by Andrew Shaw – Chiefs Video/Analytics Coach
Both the U18 and U16 team will compete in the British Columbia Spring Hockey League (BCSHL) participating in 4 showcase weekends. The teams will have practices and training at the Chilliwack Coliseum and Club XO from April -June. Approximately 15 practices and 10 training sessions.
The U15 team will be run as a regional spring team that will compete in tournaments between April and early June. The team will also have approximately 12-15 practices and 8-10 training sessions with Club XO.
All Chiefs Spring teams are going to be selected by invitation. If you would like to be considered for the teams please email clarkewismer@gmail.com and he will forward your players name to the appropriate coach. Players will be notified by mid-November.
Last spring, eight spring team players received invitations to the Chiefs’ main camp in August. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills to Chiefs coaches and staff. We are excited to provide this opportunity for prospective Chief players once again. The staff of the Chilliwack Chiefs look forward to working with your players.
