Pretty Commits to Chiefs for 2023/24 Season

The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the commitment of 2005-born forward Tyler Pretty for the 2023/24 season.

Pretty has played with the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds program for the past four seasons. Over the past two, he has been with the u18 program. In 36 games played this season, the Abbotsford product scored 28 goals and 28 assists for 56 points.

“We are really happy to bring Tyler into the fold for the 23-24 season. He is a local player who has improved significantly over the past couple of seasons. We think he has a lot of potential offensively and shows all the signs of a player who will be able to contribute up and down the lineup as a rookie in the league next season,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney.

Pretty, who played for the Junior Chiefs spring hockey program when he was younger, says he is excited to join the organization.

“It’s a privilege to play for the Chilliwack Chiefs. They are a classy organization with a history of developing players. I’m excited about the opportunity and can’t wait to get started,” said Pretty.

Welcome to the Chiefs Tyler!
