Pearson Commits to Princeton

The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce that goaltender Ethan Pearson has secured his NCAA future with a commitment to Princeton University (ECAC). Thus far this season, the Fredericton, NB native has been very impressive in the crease and figures to be a huge part of the Chiefs goaltending tandem this season.

“We are all very happy for Ethan and his family. He is a player that has generated a lot of interest since coming to Chilliwack from Mount St. Charles. I know he is extremely excited to have a firm idea of what is next in his hockey journey, and we look forward to continuing his development here in Chilliwack.” Said Chiefs Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney.
When asked about what made Princeton the ideal choice for him, Pearson said the history of the program and the academic package were a couple of the deciding factors. “I fell in love with the campus the moment I visited. The facilities are beautiful and all have a part of history towards each building. The hockey team is on the verge of great things and the academics speak for themselves. I really want to be a part of that history, and can’t wait to get started.” Said the 2002-born net-minder.
Congratulations Ethan!
