The Chilliwack Chiefs announced Friday that 2001-born import forward Jake Veri has returned home and will not be re-joining the team this year.
“Jake made the tough decision to go home and re-assess his options,” said Chiefs Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney. “He is a great young man with a bright future. On behalf of all of our staff, we wish him nothing but the best as he moves forward in his hockey career.”
The Chiefs would like to thank Jake for his efforts on the ice and in the community, and wish him much success moving forward.
