Dylan Kinch Signs for 2022/23 Season

The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce the signing of 2004-born forward Dylan Kinch.

The Calgary, Alberta product is coming off a stellar season with the Edge School U18 Prep program. In just 36 games, the 5’11” forward netted
31 goals and 29 assists for a total of 60 points.

“Dylan is an addition we are excited about. He had an unbelievable season in the CSSHL last year and has shown he has the IQ and skill set to be an impact player at the BCHL level,” said Head Coach and GM Brian Maloney.

Kinch said that after converstaions with Coach Maloney and Coach Rihela, he knew that the Chiefs would be the right place for him to continue to grow as a player.

“It was clear that I was stepping into a first-class organization with an opportunity to not only play on a good team but in a competitive league,” said Kinch. “I’m excited to be a Chief for the 2022/2023 season and to be coached by Brian and the coaching staff as I continue to develop and grow as a hockey player.”

The 17-year-old says he is also excited to get involved with the community.

“I look forward to playing in front of the fans and getting to know what the city of Chilliwack is all about.”
