The Cowichan Valley Capitals played host to the Chilliwack Chiefs Saturday evening in front of 871 fans at the Cowichan Community Centre.
Cowichan took an early lead in the first period and never let it go, eventually defeating the Chiefs 4-2. Jacob Slipec (Cristall/Kelly) and Brett Willits (Merritt/Henry) scored for the Chiefs.
The Chiefs complete their road trip this afternoon with a 2pm game against the Nanaimo Clippers.
