Chilliwack Coliseum
The Chilliwack Coliseum is a beautiful facility, located off Highway 1 and situated in the heart of the Fraser Valley in downtown Chilliwack. The Chilliwack Coliseum is the perfect venue for any sporting or musical event, trade show or convention. Inside our 100,000-square-foot facility are two NHL sized rinks, a multi-purpose meeting room, professional locker rooms, full food and beverage service, team merchandise store, and 13 suites.
We have seating for almost 5,000 for sporting events and the building can accommodate over 6,000 people for concerts.
The Chilliwack Coliseum has hosted concerts such as Jann Arden, Flo Rida, George Jones and Alice Cooper, as well as the Celebration on Ice figure skating show which featured Elvis Stojko, Kurt Browning and Ekaterina Gordeeva. We also hosted the Continental Cup, RBC Cup National Junior A Championship, Montreal Canadiens Alumni Game, a World Juniors pre-tournament game, and Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance.
The arena is also often used as a filming location for on-ice scenes in movies and television commercials.
The Chilliwack Coliseum is home to a number of business tenants, including the BCHL Chilliwack Chiefs, Chilliwack Sports Medicine Clinic, Corner Kick Concessions, and Soccer Plus, as well as offices and storage for figure skating and minor lacrosse.
Summer camps, adult hockey league, skating and hockey lessons, minor hockey practices and games, and many public drop-in programs take place at the arena; providing a great benefit to families in the Chilliwack and Fraser Valley region.
In 2019, the Junior Chiefs made the Chilliwack Coliseum their home base and hosted a tournament for the new British Columbia Spring Hockey League (BCSHL).
We also operate a RapidShot Hockey Training System in the secondary arena. RapidShot is the only professional shooting system in the world that measures accuracy, shot speed and reaction time, leading the way in hockey skills training and analytics.
