Chiefs played host to the Coquitlam Express Saturday night
Chiefs playing their second of three pre-season games found the back of the net first off the stick of Chiefs forward Dakota Macintosh. An Express pass found MacIntosh in the high slot and he made no mistake beating the Express goaltender in the top left corner.
In the second period, the Chiefs extended their lead when Olivier Beaulieu clapped home a one-timer from his D partner, Hudson Wiles, who also jumped in on the play for the secondary assist was Savin Virk. The Chiefs continued in the second period play with the puck on their sticks most of the time. Express made it 2-1 which ended up being the only goal for the visiting team scored by Kasper Walther-Sneve.
To cap off the second period and the scoring of the hockey game, the first star of the game Savin Virk sent home his third goal of the preseason. Virk has scored in each of the Chief’s preseason games, alongside being the first star in both of games so far.
