The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the commitment of Savin Virk for the 2023/24 BCHL season.
Virk, a 2007-born forward currently plays for Yale Hockey Academy’s U18 program. In 15 games played so far this season, the Surrey product has netted 13 goals and 4 assists.
“Savin has been a top player in the 07 age group for years, he has shown the ability to finish at every level he has played. We are excited to help him in his development. We are really proud to welcome Savin and his family to the Chiefs organization,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney.
Last season, Virk spent the majority of his time with Yale’s U15 program where he scored 72 points in just 29 games. He then played 6 games for the U17 program, earning 6 points.
“I am proud and honoured to be a part of a quality organization like the Chilliwack Chiefs. Everyone there has made me feel like a part of the Chiefs’ family already,” said Virk.
