Chiefs Sign Ruskowski for 2023/24 BCHL Season

The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the signing of 2005-born Brendan Ruskowski for the 2023/24 BCHL season.

The Langley product currently plays for the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds U18 program. In just 17 games so far this season, the 6’0 forward has scored 27 points (9 goals, 18 assists).

“Brendan is a player who has been involved with our program for a couple of seasons now. He is an excellent two-way player that has a lot of maturity and grit to his game,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney. “There were a lot of teams in our league interested in Brendan so we are fortunate and really excited to get this done. He is going to be a big part of the future here in Chilliwack.”

Ruskowski suited up in his first regular season BCHL game last month as an AP for the Chiefs and made a strong impression on the staff.

“I’m very excited to join such a first-class organization. I’ve had the opportunity to be around the team this year and have been very impressed with the coaching staff, players, and fans. I can’t wait to play in Chilliwack next season,” said Ruskowski.

Welcome to Chilliwack Brendan!
