Chiefs Fall to Kings 5-2

The Chiefs travelled to Powell River for the first game of their three games in three nights Island road trip.

The Kings hit the scoresheet first with Levi Glassman scoring his second of the season but rookie Peter Reynolds drew the Chiefs even just over a minute later with his first goal of the young BCHL Regular Season, Brody Gagno had the helper on the goal. The first period would end knotted at one.

The second period saw Cooper Moore score his second of the season with help from Peter Reynolds and Nikita Nesterenko to put the Chiefs up 2-1. However, it was all Powell River after that as the hometown squad scored four unanswered goals to end the second with a 5-2 lead.

There was no scoring in the third.

The Chiefs are in Cowichan Valley tonight. Game time is 6pm.
