The Chilliwack Chiefs announced today that they have transferred the CJHL playing rights to (00) D Alexander Marrocco to the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. Marrocco, a native of Edmonton, Alberta suited up in 48 regular season games last season for the Chiefs, totalling 2 goals, 16 assists and 33 PIMS. He also dressed for 9 games in the 2019 BCHL playoffs.
Chiefs Associate Coach and Assistant GM Brad Rihela had this to say about the transaction, “We would like to thank Alex for his commitment to the Chiefs organization, and the community of Chilliwack. He was a great teammate and player for us last season and we know he will be a very welcome addition in Bonnyville.”
