The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the signing of 2003-born forward Matt Argentina.
Argentina joins the Chiefs after spending the past two seasons with Boston College. In his time there, the Philadelphia product suited up for 53 games.
“We’re excited to have Matt join our already deep forward group. He will add experience, skill, and grit to our group. We were in the market for a power forward who’s a right-hand shot that can also take face-offs. Having played two years of college hockey for a world-renowned university like Boston College will help him bring great experience to our team. We’re pretty fortunate and honoured to have a chance at continuing Matt’s development,” said Chiefs Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney.
While at BC, Argentina was teammates with former Chiefs Nikita Nesterenko and Mitch Andres.
“I’m honored to join Coach Maloney and the Chiefs this season. I’m really looking forward to the team’s success,” said Argentina.
Welcome to the Chiefs family Matt!
