The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce the addition of Michael La Starza to the roster.
The 2004-born forward comes to the Chiefs from the USHL’s Sioux Falls Stampede in exchange for future considerations. La Starza had 77 points in 130 USHL games split between Sioux Falls and Waterloo.
“Opportunities to add a player of Michael’s caliber don’t come around often. He is going to immediately help our team offensively. We look forward to helping Michael round out his game to continue to prepare for college. This is a really good day for our hockey club,” said Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney.
La Starza joins the Chiefs with a commitment to Boston University.
“I’m very excited to be a Chilliwack Chief. I’m ready to get started and work with the coaches and players every day to get better. This is a great organization and it’s an honour to be part of it,” said La Starza.
