Chiefs Acquire Boston College Commit Delay from USHL

The Chilliwack Chiefs are proud to announce the acquisition of Timmy Delay from the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL in exchange for future considerations.

Delay played 48 games in the USHL last season and is committed to play his NCAA hockey at Boston College.

“Timmy is a player that is going to come in and help us right away offensively, and is a player who makes our team better. His skill set and ability to process the play will be a huge asset to our group. We know he has really taken a lot of pride in growing his game away from the puck as well,” said Associate Head Coach and Assistant General Manager Brad Rihela.

Before his time in the USHL, the 6’1 forward played four seasons with St. Sebastian’s School, where he was teammates with Chiefs alum Thomas Messineo.

“I’m really excited to join the Chiefs culture. I’ve heard amazing things over the years about the coaching staff from many different players. I’m excited to be able to showcase my skill and to keep bringing the winning culture to Chilliwack,” said Delay.
