The Chilliwack Chiefs are pleased to announce the signing of 2003-born defenseman Brian Morse for the upcoming 2022/23 BCHL season.
The 6’1 blueliner will join the Chiefs after playing two seasons with the Northstar Knights 18U team in the NAPHL. Morse netted 74 points (13 goals, 61 assists) in 55 games this past season.
“We are thrilled to add Brian to our defensive group for the upcoming season. He brings a lot of poise and intelligence and will be a key part of our group moving forward,” said Chiefs Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney.
Morse, who hails from Fresno, California says he is excited for the start of the season.
“I’m extremely blessed and grateful to have signed with Chilliwack. I’d like to thank my family, coaches, and most importantly God for everything they’ve done to get me here. The work is just getting started and I can’t wait to get up there,” he said.
