ABBOTSFORD, FEB. 14, 2019 – Berry the Bandit will be making a road trip this upcoming weekend in support of the defending national champions and RBC Cup winners, the Chilliwack Chiefs. Thanks to a quick drive down Highway 1 from Abbotsford Centre, Berry will be lending a paw for the ceremonial puck drop at centre ice for the Chiefs’ second last home game of the season at Prospera Centre.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. for a tilt that will see the Chiefs take on the visiting Nanaimo Clippers. Following puck drop, Berry will be greeting fans throughout the venue and helping to cheer on the Chiefs.
