From BCHL.ca

BURNABY, B.C. – Chilliwack Chiefs forward AJ Lacroix has been named the March High School Player of the Month, presented by Eligibility Wizard.

This award is for players 18-years-old or younger who are attending high school full time and is based on in-class and on-ice performance.

On the ice, Lacroix put up nine points in 10 games on three goals and six assists. The 16-year-old rookie had three multi-point efforts in the month, including a two-goal performance in a Mar. 12 win against the Cowichan Valley Capitals. Lacroix led all Chiefs rookies in the regular season with 40 points in 53 games played.

As successful as he has been during games, he has arguably been more impressive in the classroom. Lacroix is attending school through Ebus Academy distance learning this year. So far, he has received an A in every class, including 98.4 per cent in Chemistry 11 and 95 per cent in English 11. He is currently taking Pre-Calculus 11 and has a grade of 100 per cent through the first part of the course.

Prior to this year, he earned straight A’s in all Grade 10 courses.
